The Ozone House Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Kellie Rutledge, LMSW (she/her) has been named Interim Executive Director. Kellie joins Ozone House after serving as the Clinical Program Director for the Monroe Community Mental Health Authority. She is a strong advocate for social justice and has a passion for educating and supporting new social workers. Kellie has served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Toledo where she taught Introduction to Social Welfare. Lee Meadows, Ozone House Board Chair, noted, “The Board of Directors recognizes Ms. Rutledge’s passion for serving young people, her desire to deepen Ozone House’s community partnerships and to provide strong leadership for the dedicated staff at Ozone House who serve hundreds of young people experiencing homelessness each year. The Ozone House community, especially our team, is fortunate to have her stepping up to serve.” As Kellie steps into this leadership role, we are inviting our friends and partners to connect with Kellie and Ozone House staff to share past experiences, insights, and hopes for Ozone House moving forward. We are inviting you to the first in a series of coffee hours at Ozone House beginning this Monday the 14th at 8:30am. Mr. Meadows, also recognized the contributions of former Executive Director Krista Girty, stating, “Krista was a large part of our growth during her time here. She was at the helm as we moved to our new building as well as throughout the pandemic. We wish her the best as she moves forward. We remain committed to sustaining our deep commitment to the community and to our tradition of excellence in all aspects of serving young people in need.
