Our New Forever Home!

The land for our new FRONT DOOR has been purchased and the foundation has been laid!

Our FRONT DOOR is Always Open.

With our new home, we will finally be able to give more youth and families in our community the safety and support they need to not only survive, but thrive. And it can't come soon enough! Here's why:

  • Two other emergency youth shelters here in southeast Michigan closed last year, making the need for our new facility more crucial than ever;
  • We continue to have wait lists for our housing programs;
  • Our current site on Washtenaw Avenue in Ann Arbor has never-ending maintenance issues that are costly and make it hard for us to provide uninterrupted care for youth in crisis;
  • The quality of our facilities needs to match the quality of our services;
  • The youth we work with deserve this, and our community demands it.

Our New Address:
1600 N. Huron River Drive, Ypsilanti

I liked how I got help with my major worries in life at Ozone House. My caseworker has always been here when needed. I lost contact with my caseworker for two months and she called to check on me. It made me feel good and cared about!
