Crisis Line

Please call our Crisis Line if you answer yes to any of these questions:

  • Have you thought about hurting yourself or suicide?
  • Are you unsafe at home?
  • Have you run away?
  • Are you homeless?
  • Have you been kicked out?
  • Has someone hurt you before?
  • Have you hurt yourself?
  • Are you scared?
  • Have you had sex for money or a place to stay, food, or anything of value?
  • Did you ever work or do something illegal and someone else got money because of your work or your act?
  • Are you experiencing family conflict?
  • Is something else bothering you?

Crisis Line counselors will help you get access to food and shelter, or direct you to a safe place to hang out.

Safe Stay Shelter

If you are 10-17 years old, Safe Stay offers a welcoming place for you if you need a safe place to stay or a break from conflict at home. Call (734) 662-2222 for more information.

After speaking with a trained volunteer on the crisis line, if they determine that you need an immediate safety plan, you will be asked to come to Ozone House, 1600 N. Huron River Drive, Ypsilanti, for an intake session. This is a very important step in getting you the help you need. Please bring identification with you if you can.
