For Parents
We open the door to strengthen families giving parents and kids a chance to rebuild healthy relationships.
Ages 10-17 years old:
Safe Stay Prevention Program: Non-residential, community-based services for youth at risk of removal from the home/school or running away. Individualized, strengths-based services include:
- Care coordination
- Counseling
- Connecting with Community Resources
- Conflict Resolution
- The option to enter into our Safe Stay Residential Program
Safe Stay Residential Program: a 2-week residential counseling program for kids who have run away, are at risk of running away, or experiencing family crisis. The goal of the Safe Stay Program is family reunification. Our vision for the outcome of the program is that each child who enters our services will leave, unified within their family support system.
Youth will receive:
- Individual/Family Counseling
- Structured Daily Schedule
- School and Life Skills Groups
- Safe and Supportive Environment
Both youth & guardian must consent to being a part of the program. Services through Ozone House are voluntary and may end whenever either youth or guardian decides.
- Youth can attend their school, afterschool activities, and still with their community while in the program.
- We cannot currently accommodate youth who are in foster care, coming straight from the hospital, abusing drugs, or actively suicidal.
- Please view the Safe Stay Client Handbook for more information.
- Optional: Each family who enters our services may also participate in a temporary, transitional aftercare counseling service to further their success beyond the program.
